Built to mimic Paris’s sweeping boulevards, Avenue Louise was named after King Leopold II’s eldest daughter and is now the go-to destination for shoppers wanting boutique brands and one-off finds.
While the avenue is well-known for its numerous designer names, the whole street is peppered with children’s stores, including concept shop Tinok which prides itself on fantastic service and hand-picked design pieces from European brands including Miho, Stokke and Vulli.
At just short of two miles there are plenty of places to suit every need though for gift shops turn off the main street in to rue du Bailli where there are also a number of small cafes and restaurants, perfect for when tired little legs needs a rest from retail therapy.
