New Zealand based Seedling are not only an incredibly creative company, they are also ensuring that the next generation gets a taste for being creative themselves with their Create It craft kits.

With options for all ages from 3 upwards, they have also ensured that no one is missing out on the fun. Grouped into five themed ranges (the Artist, the Adventure, the Magic, the Carried Away, and The Circus), the packs in each collection include all of the materials needed for an afternoon of creative and imaginative play, handily packaged in one box which can later be used to store any of your excess craft supplies.

The emphasis on imagination runs through all of the collections, but is perhaps most prominent in the
Magic range which encourages children to picture themselves as a fantasy character before creating a super hero cape, tutu or feather crown to wear afterwards

The Artist collection focuses on helping children develop key art skills, with options including the Make Your Own Kaleidoscope Kit and T Shirt Design packs (for ages 4 to 14).

For budding fashion designers, the Carried Away collection has everything from Design A Tote Bag and Indie Bangles Kits to the Fashion Designer’s Kit which includes a sketchpad, fabrics, pens and sewing materials so children can create their first collection before testing it out on the manikin – which is also included, of course.

The Adventure range provides everything for explorers, including a Nature Press, Archaeology and Rock Excavation Kits.

While the Circus Collection has juggling balls, pom pom makers and a Paint Your Own Russian Dolls kit – perfect for children who love clowning around.

Designer Details Mother-of-two Phoebe Hayman founded Seedling in 2006 with the aim of creating great gifts which could grow and change with children. Aiming to make sourcing quality craft supplies and getting creative as easy as possible, Phoebe started with just four initial kits, putting them together in a spare room of her New Zealand farmhouse and then selling them at a local Christmas Market. Seedling now produce over 250 products which are all hand-assembled from high-quality components and materials.
