Honest Artisan Chocolate | CBD
This chocolate is awesome, tasty and just the kind of treat you can happily give your children without guilt. It is organic, hand made and locally sourced. It’s not too sweet, so I use it regularly in hot chocolates, or crumbled over natural yoghurt with honey and nuts for the kids. The shop is characterful and you can watch them doing their chocolaty magic in the kitchen.
Located in Cape Town’s CBD, you
can flag this one up as a treat for
after you’ve visited one of the
museums nearby, or taken a boat trip on the harbour.
They have a brilliant range of products – including truffles, slabs and spreads – and beautiful wrapping paper, making this an ideal gift (plus they’re small, so perfect for flying). If you don’t manage to make it into the store, you can also pick some up from other suppliers and markets around South Africa – check the store’s website for the full details.
