When Storksak launched the Jamie change bag back in 2006, it went straight to the top of the Cool Daddy charts.

Whilst this bag’s rise to fame may have originally been fuelled by its popularity with the likes of Brad Pitt, Pete Wentz and Matt Damon, its continued success can only be put down to be the brilliantly thought out design and classic styling of this now-iconic bag.

It’s definitely top of our list for a man bag – whether that be as a change bag or simply as an excellent day-to-day satchel. When I’ve been out and about with it, it’s often been commented on by other men who have man-bag envy. In fact, one urbane young chap once told me that he had this exact same bag; when I asked about his children, he was most thrown by the fact that this was a change bag!!

The beauty of this bag is that it really does have genuine across-the-board appeal, and will continue to be a staple accessory in a daddy’s kit well beyond the out-with-toddler years

Pockets Ideally proportioned for carrying all manner of baby items as well as your own essentials, this bag has a great range of internal and external pockets. At each side of the bag, there is a narrow insulated ‘bottle’ pocket that will hold bottles upright and that allows dual access with an internal and external zip. At the front and back of the bag, another two A5 size ‘slip in’ pockets come halfway up the bag; held secure with magnetic clips, they are ideal for items you may need to have to hand quickly (great for a full-size iPad, diary or the like).

For the interior, one side of the bag features four slip in pockets – two are full length/half width pockets, the other two are smaller, half length/half width. These are ideal for dividing up your essentials – for example a change of clothes and snacks in each of the full length pockets; dummies and small toys in each of the half length pockets. On the opposite side, there is a full width/full length zippered pocket for larger items that you want to keep very secure, and on the outside of this (but still inside the bag) there is a mesh pocket with an integral three pen holder (good for keys, mobile and the like) and two more small slip-in pockets. And of course, that’s not even mentioning the roomy main compartment of the bag where all the big stuff can sit – a change mat, or laptop perhaps?

Carrying Strap The wide cotton webbed shoulder strap is comfortable and easily adjusts to fit tall or small figures, as well as pushchair frames of all shapes and sizes.

Additional features The bag also comes with a luxury padded change mat and a detachable key holder/clip.

Material Made from durable pebble embossed cowhide leather, the bag repels water, and the internal linings are all made from a wipe-clean lining (we’ve also often ‘wash out’ cleaned this bag – which might not be recommended, but after a hard day’s action, sometimes the only option, and happily it has brilliantly withstood the cleaning process).

Designer Details Storksak was founded in 2003 by Melanie Marshall and Suzi Bergman, with the view to create a line of luxury baby changing bags which didn’t compromise style for function. Ten years later, the collection includes a variety of leather and non-leather styles for men and women, stocked in department stores and boutiques in 24 countries across the world.
