Janod

In 1970, Louis Janod founded the company Janod with his associate Serge Salvi in Orgelet, France. The company’s focus was on the design of traditional toys (spinning tops, yo-yos, skittles) using natural and ecological materials in their products. From 2004, Pascal Bernard, CEO, set up a full-scale in-house design department.

Each year the company’s in-house designers team up with computer graphics artists and product managers to create an exciting and extensive range of toys including magnetic puzzles, wooden train sets, themed play kits and paper costumes, as well as games, backpacks and other products

Today, Janod are France’s number one producer of wooden toys.
