Boikido

Boikido is a brand of « ALLEGRE PUERICULTURE » who has been dedicated to the distribution and the development of nursery products and toys in France for the last 15 years. Boikido has put together an international team of professional and experienced experts to ensure the ongoing success of the brand. Wooden toys have always been considered as solid and quality toys that respect the environment. For many years they have been the only toys available and then have been forgotten since plastic toys appeared. Plastic toys have followed the different trends while wooden toys stayed very simple with basic colours.

The launch of Boikido in 2003, which came from a wish to create modern wooden toys, revolutionized the market through unique innovative design and the use of sparkling, joyful colours … More than a simple brand of wooden toys, Boikido is a family of characters with a personality, a « face » which makes them appealing and creates a pleasant and magical play environment for children. In 2008 the Boikido brand, concerned by our environmental responsibilities, developed Boikido Eco Friendly: a new family of “earthy” characters such as insects and small garden animals.

In a world where most of the available toys are too complicated and lead children to passive play, at Boikido believes that children need simple and attractive toys with child friendly designs  that encourage them to actively use their imagination  and develop through active play, stimulation  and above all fun!

Boikido is dedicated to creating originally designed mostly hand made wooden toys for children between the ages of 1 to 5 years of age. The Boikido range of products is designed exclusively in France by a top team of designers. The products are all tested with mothers, babies and educational experts to ensure that the design and functionality are the best suited for the target groups.
