Liz Harper has written for leading travel, lifestyle and parenting magazines and often sits on the family travel expert panel of National Geographic Traveller and the parent panel of Smith & Family. Over the past few years she’s taken off, with daughter Molly in tow, to some fabulous destinations: they’ve shopped in NYC, hiked in the foothills of the High Atlas mountains, explored the Amazon rainforest, checked out the big five in Tanzania’s Serengeti, and snorkeled in the clear blue waters off the Zanzibar coast. Nearer to home they’ve built sandcastles in St Ives, surfed in Woolacombe and sailed in the Lake District.
