The Village Toy Shop

The Village Toy Shop was born 17 years ago because I was obsessed with Playmobil and my son, Brian, could not get enough of Thomas the Tank Engine. We moved to the area in 1992 from New Jersey and immediately missed our afternoon trips to the local toy store on Main Street. After many nights of discussion and dreams, we woke up one day in October 1994 and said, “Let’s do it!” Our friends frantically helped us stock the shelves and we opened the doors on Main Street in Easton on December 1, 1994. We expanded in 2000 to our Canton location. Ellen and Heidi, members of our original team, are still with us today. Our mission to promote healthy play and create lasting memories of those “afternoon trips to the local toy store” is still our passion. Thanks for being a huge part of our story!
